ADR Training course by Don Hunter Training Services Ltd

Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser Training
Any company whose activities include the carriage, or the related packing, loading, filling or unloading of dangerous goods by road are required to appoint one or more Safety Advisers whose responsibility will be to help prevent the risks inherent in such activities with regard to Persons, Property and the Environment.
The Adviser must attend training, pass an examination approved by the Competent Authority and hold a Vocational Training Certificate. The Certificate lasts for 5 years and can be renewed by the Adviser passing an examination anytime during the year before its expiry.
We provide training which will enable candidates to understand the application of
the Chapters of the ADR Agreement and associated GB Carriage Regulations for both road and rail.
The training will also prepare candidates for the Scottish Qualifications Authority examination which can be taken at one of the centres of their choice.
The examination is an “open book” type.
Our 5 day training courses are held at Ipswich and Great Yarmouth taking place one or two weeks prior to each examination.
Courses include: Core module, Road and All Classes
The ADR text is used daily throughout the training. Test papers are also used daily to
re-enforce the learning and to ensure course members have a complete understanding of the application of ADR. Where required, additional support is available up to the day of the examination free of charge by telephone or E-mail.
